Artist Bio

Jennifer Lindquist’s connection to Florida’s coastline formed when she moved to New Smyrna Beach in middle school. The light, water, and the quiet beauty of the coast left an enduring impression. As a young adult, she expressed her creativity by painting murals and decor for her home. She started sharing through her local gallery and as her commitment to art grew, Jennifer decided to pursue formal training at Milan Art Institute, expanding the foundation of her artistic practice.

Jennifer’s paintings reflect a deep appreciation for the beauty, peace and moments of wonder she encounters in the natural world. Working in layers of fluid acrylics, spray paint, inks and oils, she builds subtle depth and atmosphere, often accenting with small touches of gold and acrylic pen that lead the eye towards a delightful discovery. Her work creates inviting moments that encourage viewers to allow the eye to wander through the painting. “My hope is to share my love of the ocean and nature with you, through my art.”

Outside the studio, Jennifer enjoys camping, surfing with friends and spending time at Florida’s natural springs. In the studio, her practice stays active and evolving, new ideas emerging from the places and experiences around her. A photograph taken during an outing, a fleeting moment on the water or an unexpected scene in nature can become the starting point for a new painting or idea for a series. In the future, Jennifer hopes to become an artist in residence for a national park or conservancy.
